Eastern Gray Squirrel. Found through-out the eastern United states. Common invader of attics, readily adapts to alternative food sources. Problems consist of gnawing on electrical wires in attics, digging small holes in yards when burying or searching for nuts, gnawing holes in soffits, fascia, roof lines, and air vents.

Gray Squirrel
The Red Squirrel. Found through out the Northern United States in pine, spruce or mixed hardwood forest. Common invader of cabins and houses. Eats a variety of foods, stores food in caches not singly like the gray squirrel. Problems consist of gnawing on electrical wires in attics, gnawing holes in soffits, fascia, roof lines and vents.

Red Squirrel
The Flying Squirrel. Found through out the Northern and Eastern United States in pine and mixed hardwood forests. Active solely at night and is gregarious in winter with 20 or or denning together. Eats a variety of foods including seeds, nuts, insects and eggs. Stores food in nest chambers. Problems consist of gnawing on electrical wires in attics, gnawing holes in soffits, fascia, roof lines, and vents.
